Welcome to the Summer Giveaway Hop!

A Rush of Green is one of 300+ blogs participating in the Summer Giveaway Hop! Each blog is offering a book-related giveaway and we have all joined together so you can easily hop from one giveaway to another and win plenty of book goodies.

THE PRIZE: A Rush of Green will be giving away copies of sci-fi thriller, The Human Race, to three lucky winners.

The Human Race by O.C. Heaton

Ever had a secret so big that your very knowledge of it consumed you? Uma Jakobsdóttir has one. A huge one. And if it falls into the wrong hands, it could obliterate mankind.

Unfortunately, two men have discovered it.

Ethan Rae, Britain’s richest man, is counting on Uma’s secret to finally seal his position as the greatest deal maker of all time.

Across the Atlantic, Samuel Reynolds III, playboy CEO of Reynolds Air, is battling to keep alive the airline his Granddad built. Once the largest company in America, it’s now facing bankruptcy as the fallout from 911 cripples the airline industry. He desperately needs Uma’s secret to ensure its survival.

From the leafy suburbs of London to the frozen wasteland of Iceland, in the shadow of Ground Zero and the barren dryness of the Mojave Desert, both men will stop at nothing to get what they want.

There can only be one winner and the fate of the human race hangs in the balance as they battle it out.

The race is on…

To enter the competition, go to the comments section on this post and answer the following question:

One of my recent blog posts argues that flying will always be a dirty word. Do you agree or disagree?

There is no right or wrong answer, and I will pick the winners using an online number generator.

BONUS ENTRY: If you follow O.C. Heaton on Twitter, we will enter you into the competition twice, doubling your chances to win! Follow O.C. Heaton on Twitter.

CLOSING DATE: The Summer Giveaway Hop! runs from Monday August 1st 2011 until 12pm GMT Sunday August 7th 2011.

Good luck!

UPDATE: Announcing the winners!

Flying will become more of a dirty word if the green lobby get their way, but to me it’s not a dirty word but a necessity in the global economy.

  22. Judy Cox says:

I think we need the option of flying, it may not be liked right now, but maybe someone can come up with a solution.
